Oti Cabadas, a Spanish influencer known under the handle "Coco Trucker Girl," died at age 41

Oti Cabadas, a Spanish influencer known under the handle "Coco Trucker Girl," has died. She was 41.

"Today is a very sad day," the Spanish Confederation of Freight Transport, a nonprofit that represents freight transport companies in Spain, post to X on Monday, Oct. 27. "We still find it hard to believe that Oti Cabadas has left us."

The creator — who had a combined following of over 400,000 people across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook — showcased her life online as a truck driver and advocated for gender equality and improved working conditions for the profession.

According to several reports by local outlets, including Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Cabadas died shortly after attending the 10th Annual Meet-Up of Classic and American Trucks, held in Alcañiz, on Oct. 25 and 26. The creator reportedly experienced a stroke after the event and was airlifted to Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza, where she later died.

"We are all devastated; it's been a terrible blow," Santiago Gracia, an organizer of the event, told local newspaper La Comarca. "She was full of life."

"She opened doors for many women in the transportation sector, proving that this world is not just for men, and she did so by sharing her daily life through social media, sharing her energy and enthusiasm with everyone," the Spanish Confederation of Freight Transport said on X.

The organization added, "Fly high, Oti. 🕊️ We will always remember you with affection and gratitude for everything you."

Cabadas seemingly last her social media accounts on Oct. 25, sharing a video of a green truck and a collection of photos at a trucker workshop on TikTok and Instagram.

In the comments, fans of the late internet star posted tributes following the news of her death. "Kisses and roses to heaven for Coco and strength for family, colleagues and friends 🙏" wrote one.

"All my support and love to his family and friends…. THANK YOU for your smile and for your content…. Rest in peace," another penned, while a third shared, "A hug, Coco… you have been an inspiration to many women and an example to many people."
