Selling Sunset newcomer Sandra Vergara is breaking her silence on the accusations her costar Chrishell Stause made against her in season 9
In the new season, Stause claims Vergara keyed her assistant's car, prompting them to have a dramatic confrontation
Netflix first announced Vergara, who is related to Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, was joining the cast in July, and she is now officially an Oppenheim Group agent
Sandra Vergara is looking to set the record straight after her Selling Sunset costar Chrishell Stause claimed she keyed her assistant's car.
In season 9, which dropped Wednesday, Oct. 29 on Netflix, Stause, 44, has a serious conversation with the Oppenheim Group's newest agent after Vergara asks if she has a problem with her. The discussion leads to Stause confronting Vergara about an incident involving her assistant and the Selling Sunset newcomer, as the pair used to live in the same building.
During the episode, Vergara, 37, completely denies the allegations and even sheds some tears over the fact that Stause would accuse her of doing something like that. Now, she's walking through what she says really happened in a recent interview with Us Weekly.
"I never keyed anybody's car. Let's set the record straight," she told the outlet. "I don't want to bad mouth anybody because it's against my preference in spiritual practices. I do not like to speak poorly about anybody."

Despite this, Vergara decided to share her perspective of what happened and clarify the accusations made against her.
"I also don't want to get in trouble. But her assistant used to be a neighbor of mine and this neighbor was a very problematic person," she claimed. "She was very difficult and somebody keyed her car. So she just blamed it on me. I actually have an idea of who it could have been but I have nothing to do with it."
The reality star added that she got emotional during the scene and ended up crying in front of Stause because she joined the show with an "open heart," and Stause was resurfacing issues that "had nothing to do with her."
During the dramatic confrontation in episode 10, which takes place at one of Stause's listings in Malibu, tension is sparked after Vergara asks Stause, "Have I rubbed you the wrong way in any way or something?" and adds that she's getting a "feeling of resistance" from her.
"I know what you're saying with feeling, but I feel like I've been lovely to you," Stause responds. "So I think you're reading into things. At the end of the day it doesn't matter though, just focus on your work. Friendships will come if they're meant to."
Defending herself, Vergara says, "I'm not saying I want to be your friend. I'm just saying I sense something I haven't sensed with any of the other girls."

Stause, who appears to be getting slightly annoyed, then states frankly, "If you're going to start this conversation, we're going to have it," before grabbing her purse and showing Vergara a picture of someone on her phone.
She then asks, "You guys used to live in the same building?"
After Vergara insists she doesn't know the person, Stause explains, "So, I said who the new girl was in the office. And I said, 'Oh, I think she's related to Sofia Vergara.' And my assistant was like, 'Wait, is her name Sandra?' And that's when she said, 'Oh my god we used to live in the same building.' And she told me that you keyed her car."

A shocked Vergara then tells Stause, "I've never keyed anybody's car. Not even an ex."
Their conversation continues with Stause saying she "would have never brought it up" until Vergara tried to "paint" it like she wasn't being friendly to her. After Vergara gets emotional and says she doesn't want any drama, Stause offers her some advice.
"I've been at this office long enough to know, honestly, you do have to toughen up a little bit because at the end of the day, nothing matters except for your success and what you're there to do," she says.

During her introduction in episode 6, Vergara shares a bit more about herself, and confirms she is related to actress Sofía Vergara.
"Yes, I am related to Sofía Vergara. She's biologically my first cousin but her mom adopted me so we grew up as sisters," she says of the Modern family star. "I'm from Colombia originally but I've been here more than half my life. I'm very new at real estate. I've been an artist my whole life and then I became a journalist."
