Ravnik's post comes after Maks Chmerkovskiy said he Eras Tour backup dancer has "absolutely no business being a pro" on the show and called his casting "absurd"
Ravnik was best known as one of Taylor Swift's backup dancers on the Eras Tour prior to his casting on DWTS
Jan Ravnik is channeling his Eras Tour experience following criticism of his Dancing with the Stars casting.
After former pro Maks Chmerkovskiy said on the Friday, Oct. 24 episode of his wife Peta Murgatroyd's podcast, The Penthouse with Peta, that Ravnik has "absolutely no business being a pro on Dancing with the Stars," the 30-year-old dancer seemed to respond with a post on his Instagram Stories.
Ravnik shared a photo of himself and his partner, Jen Affleck, in the DWTS ballroom during a rehearsal and quoted a pointed Taylor Swift lyric in the post.
"I'll be the actress starring in your bad dreams," Ravnik wrote over the photo, a lyric from Swift's Reputation track, "Look What You Made Me Do."
The song is relevant outside of Chmerkovskiy's comments, though, as Ravnik and Affleck, 26, will be performing to it on the Tuesday, Oct. 28 episode of DWTS.

On the podcast, Chmerkovskiy, 45, said that Ravnik has "zero foundation, technique, quality, understanding of the partnership" and that the topic made him "emotional."
"It is absurd," he said of Ravnik's casting.
Murgatroyd pointed out that Ravnik is "learning" and "learning slowly," as she told her husband, "We have to give him grace for not understanding foxtrot technique."
"No, we do not have to give him grace. Are you kidding me?" Chmerkovskiy said.

Despite his criticisms of Ravnik as a pro on the show, Chmerkovskiy, who was a pro for 17 seasons on the DWTS, said he has "zero against [Ravnik] whatsoever" and that it's "not his fault."
Murgatroyd, 39, then said that Affleck is at a "major disadvantage" with Ravnik as her partner. "I feel bad because she's not getting taught the basics that she needs to. She's not getting taught the base of the dance."
She also said that the "obvious reason why" Ravnik was hired was because of his connection to Swift, 35. "Apart from that, he's a lovely guy. He looks great. He obviously is a great dancer. [But] hiring a non-ballroom dancer to teach ballroom dancing to a celebrity as a job is outrageous."
